Courtesy Visit to the Embassy of Japan by MEXT Scholarship Student

On 25 March 2024, Ms Rudyta Dagunduro, who passed the examination for the MEXT Scholarship Programme 2024* and will study in Japan as a research student, paid a courtesy visit to our Embassy before leaving for Japan. After her arrival in Japan next month, Rudyta will study Japanese for half a year and major in environment studies at the Graduate School of Nagoya University. Chargé d'Affaires ONO talked about life in Nagoya, his birthplace, and expressed his hope that by studying waste management or recycling in Japan, which is one of her areas of interest, she will bring back to Seychelles what she learns in Japan, and that her studies will contribute to addressing environmental challenges facing Seychelles. We truly wish her success in her studies in Japan.
