The Embassy of Japan in Seychelles is pleased to announce that in February 2025, two Japanese cultural events; the 3rd Japanese Film Festival & English Rakugo Show, will be open to the public at the National Theatre in Mont Fleuri.
Admission is free.
The events are organised in collaboration with Seychelles National Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts.

Japanese Rakugo Performer Kimochi will visit Seychelles from Japan and perform Rakugo in English.
Rakugo is a traditional Japanese form of storytelling. A single performer sits on stage and tells a variety of stories. Some are funny, some sad, and both involve dialogue between multiple characters, distinguished by the changing directions of the performer's face.
