The Embassy of Japan in Seychelles is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented individual for Assistant Staff.
 
Responsibilities
  • Secretarial tasks for diplomats to perform their duties including arranging appointments
  • Drafting, editing, and filing official letters and other documents
  • Liaising with external organisations
  • Conducting research on the subject assigned
  • Other tasks instructed by diplomats 
Requirements
  • Permanent residence in Seychelles
  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a multicultural environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Ability to develop and maintain essential external relationships
  • Previous experience in a similar position preferred
  • Ability to read and write Japanese would be an advantage
